Deal Places 7th with Blankenship’s Mod

While we wait on our B-Mod to be finished up, Deal was tasked to drive for an old friend. Tyler Blankenship, in the midwest-famous 3B machine, was still sore from surgery in his back region. He wanted to give his car a night at the Brownstown Bullring, and he knew just who to call. In unfamiliar territory, an Elite chassis Modified, Deal was able to quietly pull off a 4th in the heat race, and a 7th in the feature. There was a moment of scarce when race leader Will Krup spun in front of the field and collected Rick Salter with him. This all happened right in front of Deal who was fortunately able to miss it.

Through all of this, Deal jokingly registered himself as Tyler Blankenship in MyRacePass for the night. He did not want any credit for this run and was using it as a “test run.”
