About B.J.

From ever since he could walk, racing has been in B.J.’s blood. There would be days where he would beg his dad Rodney to take him to the shop to go work on their friends’ race cars.

Since the year 1999, at the age of 19, B.J. has been racing on a weekly basis in his local dirt tracks. After an impressive rookie and even better sophomore season, B.J. has completely taken off as one of the best wheelmen in his areas of racing.

B.J. is majorly respected by his peers due to his friendly personality, ability to help others, and clean driving style. He has admitted publicly he would rather finish 2nd or 3rd with a car in one piece, than win with a torn up race car. This mentality has allowed him to almost perfect the ability of missing wrecks, putting himself in good positions for the race, and the patience to run a nice, steady line around the bottom.

B.J. has over 150 wins to his name and is not showing any sign of slowing down. He still has that competitive fire he had when he was first starting, but he has also tamed it down a bit to race respectfully and cleanly.
